The Philippines
January 7th - 13th, 2020
Went on a very special journey with my friend to chaperone her Lola home to the Philippines for her 68th High School Reunion. The love throughout their family heritage is so pure in its sense of gratitude, with tokens of joy in every moment shared together.

These images were made during the beginning stages of the “Wuhan” Virus. A time when communities and individuals were gradually becoming more aware of space and distance.
A time when we first started to build a new relationship with the outdoors - conversing in closeness with nature and objects as we learned we could no longer do the same with each other.
A time that is still now.
Social distance, or the lack there of before and during the continued duration of COVID-19.
A stream of consciousness journal - flowing in and out of connected moments, time and time again.
A collection of the trash landscape in Manhattan and Boston during the summer of 2018.
I participated in this nationwide community project by offering Fairfield County residents 35mm film portraits in front of their homes from a safe distance. In exchange, each family made a donation to the Connecticut Food Bank to help provide COVID-19 relief to those in need. These portraits were made during the spring and summer of 2020.
